Well if it is, then it'll probably be the last hulla because it will lose a lot of money. Bringing in people from the UK adds a BIG cost to the event. Anthems was all local DJs so it was cost feasible to have a bit less people in there.

At the end of the day, Opera House doesn't allow people over the buildings stated capacity. Any other event that is financially succesful (i.e. they at least break even) is gonna be crowded. And as the person mentioned above, compared to some of the big clubs in the city (Government, System Soundbar etc.), hulla events at the opera house are nowhere near as crowded as they are.

A good measure to see how successful a party was is to read the review threads. If there are a lot of posts that say, "Thank you promoter xyz for not packing the place and giving us tons of room to dance", then the promoters most likely lost thousands of dollars.

You can almost always find room to dance esp. @ hullas
I expect this hulla to be as packed if not more than Warped factor
there seems to be more of a buzz on the other boards than usual for a hulla
the flyer is wikkid and Fade+Kelly

<expects a capacity crowd

p.s. If you want room to dance wait untill 3 or 4 when the softies distance themselves from the hardcore

Exactly!!

If you can't find room to dance, (this only means you havent tried hard enough to find room)...then walk around for a while...meet people...there are other things to do....just enjoy the music.

There's a big difference between "full" and "overpacked". We always aim to be full, but never overcapacity.

As Silver1 mentioned, The Anthems was a smaller production on a Friday with different goals, and if we had that turnout for one of our regular shows it would mean a loss of many thousands of dollars. At this point in the game, we can't afford to lose any money and would be another promotion biting the dust.

Thank the gods that Tyco is finally returning to the Hulla stage. It's about bloudy time! We've all missed his unique brand of kicking ass, his wanton "give 'em hell!" attitude, and of course, his overwealming sex appeal.
God damn.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I want to rape tyco in the ass.

psy-trance

If any of you want a taste of the kind of stuff I've been spinning out lately, I have a psy-trance mix up on my website: www.subsonic-chronic.com/mixes.html

At Hulla, I'll definitely be dropping the kind of stuff like in the second half of the latest mix that I have up. Nice and hard, bumpin melodic psy-trance tunes but not over-the-top full-on goa trance that makes people go crazy.

Go crazy? Don't mind if I do!
