Question Question about the Opera House ASAP please!!

I was wondering if the Opera House is handicapped accessible. A friend of mine in a wheelchair wants to come and personally I dont think I will be able to go if it isnt accessible as I cant walk stairs. (my friend and I both have spina bifida)

I've seen a person in a wheelchair inside before.

Its tough though. There are many steps. Thankfully there are hundreds of people there available to help.

Ummm....There are a lot of stairs. Esp for the bathroom. I'll let someone else answer this...it is a lot of work. I'd still go though.

There is a seperate handicap-accessable washroom right off the main floor. I'll call the venue and get a clear idea.

Basically the venue has a main floor, and an upper balcony. The balcony is many steps, and there's no alternate route. The main floor is staggered into 3 levels, each one has 4 or 5 steps getting down to the next.

The venue was once an old theatre (close to 100 years ago) so imagine what they might have to do to level out a sloped floor.

I have seen wheelchairs inside on the dancefloor, maybe someone reading this might know about that and can comment more. I'm going to edit this threads title so it may get their attention.
