Ok, phase 2 of our new HullaGallery is ready and it's ready for some more users.

The gallery can be found at this link or by clicking on "Gallery" above on the navbar.

All Hulla users are allocated 2 megs of space which they can upload their own pictures to share.

Pictures can only be viewed by visitors of the Hulla website and can't be hotlinked outside. Sorry, that means no free picture hosting for the world, but someone's gotta pay for this bandwidth.

There are different categories for past Hulla parties that you can post to, plus each member will have their own gallery. You can rate photos (1-10) as well as comment on any photo up there.

Any abuse of the new gallery by posting offensive photos, porn etc.. will result in you losing your gallery priviledges and/or be banned completely. It's a community gallery, so party pics, pics of you and your friends, etc.

There ARE a couple of known bugs, mostly with the navbar in the gallery, so if a link doesn't work to the rest of the board, don't worry, I still have to fix some of those.

Photo Gallery access is free for all HullaBoard members who have been members for more than 30 days and more than 100 posts. If you fail to meet that criteria you'll need ask for special permission (either in this thread or by PM/email).

is there any way to make an album private, Chris?

i tried using the Album Manager but after I created the album and it asked me if I wanted it password protected i selected yes. Then when I tried to access it, it asked me for a password, when I hadn't even created a password yet.

How much can 2 megs (or whatever) hold? Obviously it depends on the pictures but just say theyre all 300 by 300 pixels?

Keron, I'm still figuring out the software as well. I did create a new album, and it randomly generates a password for you. Try taking a look at your albums and see what it lists there.

the average web jpg is 50-100k, so the space here would hold 20-40 pics i would guess, all depending. You can delete older ones, freshen things up. I have no idea how much space this is all going to take and figured 2 megs was a good start.

well looks like a broke it agian, i get a blank screen on the bulkupload.php page.

what i did is i tried to create my own album and tried to upload and BAM blank page after i enetred the text details, i deleted the album and BAM blank page after i enter the text... bugs are buggy fun... cuz.. i don't have to fix them lol sorry frolic!

um ok it works now... i just had to process a blank list of images somehow... hmm
and i can add an album and post in it now... hmm... weird - oh well it works now lol.

yeah i'm getting a blank page as well after uploading. though I managed to upload a pic again, and then it stopped. hmmm. trying to figure this one out.

did some reading. the PHP may time out when uploading really big pictures, and the one I was uploading was rather large (1500x1000). try a smaller upload and let me know if it works.
