What is the official rule about smoking cigarettes at Hulla? I have heard that you used to be able to go outside, but they stopped because it almost got shutdown one time. I have heard that you can smoke in the bar area, but others say you can't. Could someone please give me an official ruling, I need to know if I have to stock up on nicorette and Nicoderm before I come, lol.

It's a Toronto rule.

No smoking in any public venue/restaurant/etc.

It's definitely not because of hullagoers.

I expect we'll be able to offer some limited space outside on the closed off patio for people to smoke as we did last time. There was some noise issues though, so I think the venue will be letting out less people at any one time than before. If you go outside to smoke, please think of others and go back inside as soon as you can to keep it available.

awesome, carrie hd told me that something like that had happened so i was kind of bumming about it. That will totally make my day if we can smoke outside. It'll also save me alot of money on nicorettte. and i will be sure to keep it quiet.

i am unfortunately a smoker, but i think that its very cool of hulla to arrange something so people can get a fix at certain points throughout the night. i dance most of the night but i do need a cig every now and then

With there being no smoking inside, that means that it will be an effort for me to smoke. I normally smoke just because I can, like... if I'm dancing and then suddenly like, "I could enjoy a smoke right now." I'll stop for a sec, swing to the edge of the dance floor and light one up. Now that I'll have to go all the way outside... well, hell, I'll smoke even less!! Thank you Frolic!! I love you!!! This is even better than no smoking at all, because the option's still there... but it's too much effort for me to want to smoke... unless I'm really craving! Sexcellent.
